Gihon Women Empowerment believes in a brighter, better future for the women of Kitengela. We do this by providing education, skills and support which empower our vulnerable community.
As an non-profit NGO, Gihon cannot exist without the compassion of those who give. Whether it be through volunteer work, or a donation of $1 or $100, every contribution provides a chance to a woman in-need to obtain a brighter future.
To express our appreciation to those who help, you will recieve a personal thank you email from the ladies and our team. In the email you will also receive the costs breakdown.
Recurring donors recieve a monthly update on their donations, including a personalized letter from the women and/or children to say thank you.

Donation Suggestions:

$10 USD to fund a month of materials for our crafts.

$15 USD to fund 30 women the supply of sanitary pads for a month.

$30 USD to fund 60 women the supply of sanitary pads for a month.

$400 USD to fund the rent of both the centres.

$60 USD to fund a year of a woman and her family health insurance.

$349 USD to sponsor a child annually.

$150 USD to fund a sewing machine.

A custom donation amount contributed to the Rescue Centre which cost $25,000 USD.
